Terms of Service

ClinicOS Publisher Terms of Service

Effective date: August 5, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of ClinicOS Publisher, a social media publishing application operated by WellPlanet (“WellPlanet,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By connecting a Facebook account, accessing ClinicOS Publisher, or using it to publish content, you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

ClinicOS Publisher allows authorized users to:

  • connect supported Facebook credentials;
  • discover and manage authorized Facebook Pages;
  • associate Pages with participating businesses;
  • prepare text and image content;
  • personalize content using approved business details;
  • publish content to selected Facebook Pages; and
  • review publishing results and history.

Features may change as the service is developed.

2. Eligibility and authority

You may use ClinicOS Publisher only if you:

  • are legally capable of agreeing to these Terms;
  • have been authorized by WellPlanet or a participating business;
  • have lawful authority to manage the connected Facebook account and Pages; and
  • comply with Meta’s applicable terms, policies, permissions, and platform requirements.

You represent that you have permission to connect each account or Page and to publish all content submitted through ClinicOS Publisher.

3. Authorized connections

You are responsible for ensuring that:

  • connected Facebook accounts are genuine and authorized;
  • Page permissions and business assignments remain current;
  • individuals who lose authority are removed promptly;
  • expired, revoked, or compromised credentials are disconnected or refreshed; and
  • access credentials are not shared through insecure channels.

ClinicOS Publisher may support system-user, personal, and business-authorized connections. The credential shown in ClinicOS Publisher for a selected Page is the credential intended to be used for that publishing attempt.

ClinicOS Publisher does not automatically switch to another credential after a publishing error or uncertain outcome.

4. Your content

You retain responsibility for content submitted through ClinicOS Publisher.

You grant WellPlanet a limited right to process, format, store, transmit, and publish that content solely as necessary to provide, secure, support, and maintain the service.

You represent that your content:

  • is accurate to the extent required by law;
  • does not infringe intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or other rights;
  • complies with advertising, professional, and industry-specific rules;
  • does not contain unlawful, deceptive, defamatory, discriminatory, or harmful material;
  • complies with Meta’s terms and content policies; and
  • may lawfully be published to every selected Page.

5. Health and patient information

ClinicOS Publisher is not an electronic health record, medical-record system, patient portal, or secure clinical communications platform.

You must not submit:

  • patient records;
  • protected health information;
  • medical histories;
  • diagnosis or treatment details linked to an identifiable individual;
  • insurance information;
  • confidential patient communications; or
  • other sensitive health information.

You are solely responsible for confirming that any testimonial, photograph, case description, or health-related content is lawful and supported by all necessary written authorizations.

6. Review before publishing

ClinicOS Publisher publishes content immediately when the operator confirms and submits a publishing request.

Before submitting, you are responsible for reviewing:

  • the complete post;
  • spelling, accuracy, and formatting;
  • selected Pages and Groups;
  • personalized clinic details;
  • attached images;
  • links;
  • legal or professional disclaimers; and
  • the credential label shown for the destination.

A successful provider response does not guarantee that a post will remain publicly visible. Visibility may be affected by Page status, audience restrictions, Meta policies, moderation, platform outages, or later Page actions.

7. Duplicate and uncertain publishing outcomes

ClinicOS Publisher includes safeguards intended to reduce accidental duplicate publishing, but no safeguard can prevent every duplicate caused by a new submission, operator action, browser behavior, or third-party platform response.

Following a timeout or uncertain result:

  • do not submit the post again immediately;
  • inspect the relevant Facebook Page;
  • review ClinicOS Publisher History;
  • search for the unique post text or marker; and
  • obtain assistance before retrying.

WellPlanet is not responsible for duplicate posts caused by retrying an uncertain request contrary to these instructions.

8. Acceptable use

You may not use ClinicOS Publisher to:

  • access a Facebook account or Page without authorization;
  • conceal or misrepresent your identity or authority;
  • publish unlawful, deceptive, fraudulent, or malicious content;
  • distribute malware or harmful code;
  • interfere with the application or another user’s access;
  • probe or bypass security controls;
  • extract or expose access credentials;
  • use automated means not expressly authorized by WellPlanet;
  • violate Meta’s terms, policies, or technical restrictions;
  • publish spam or engage in abusive bulk activity; or
  • use the service in a way that could damage WellPlanet, a participating business, Meta, or another person.

9. Third-party services

ClinicOS Publisher depends on third-party services, including WordPress, web-hosting infrastructure, and Meta’s Facebook APIs.

WellPlanet does not control those third-party services. Their availability, permissions, technical requirements, policies, and functionality may change without notice.

Your use of Facebook remains subject to Meta’s own terms and policies.

10. Availability and changes

We may:

  • modify or improve ClinicOS Publisher;
  • impose reasonable publishing limits;
  • suspend features for security or maintenance;
  • disable an unsafe or compromised connection;
  • discontinue obsolete integrations; or
  • restrict access where necessary to comply with law or platform requirements.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

11. Security

You agree to:

  • protect your WordPress and Facebook accounts;
  • use strong, unique passwords;
  • maintain appropriate access controls;
  • notify WellPlanet promptly of suspected unauthorized access;
  • avoid sharing tokens or secrets in email, chat, screenshots, or support messages; and
  • cooperate with reasonable security or remediation steps.

12. Suspension and termination

WellPlanet may suspend or terminate access when:

  • these Terms are violated;
  • a connected account or Page is unauthorized;
  • continued access creates a security or legal risk;
  • fees are unpaid where applicable;
  • Meta access is revoked;
  • the service is used abusively; or
  • suspension is reasonably necessary to protect the service or another party.

An authorized user may request disconnection and deletion as explained at:

https://wellplanet.com/clinicos-publisher/data-deletion

Termination does not automatically remove content already published to Facebook.

13. Fees

Fees, service levels, and payment terms, where applicable, are governed by the separate agreement between WellPlanet and the participating business.

Failure to pay applicable fees may result in suspension or termination.

14. Intellectual property

ClinicOS Publisher, its software, interface, branding, documentation, and related materials are owned by or licensed to WellPlanet and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Except for the limited right to use the service as authorized, no ownership right is transferred to you.

15. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, ClinicOS Publisher is provided on an “as available” basis.

WellPlanet does not warrant that:

  • the service will always be uninterrupted or error-free;
  • Meta will accept or display every post;
  • posts will reach a particular audience;
  • Facebook permissions or credentials will remain valid;
  • third-party services will remain unchanged; or
  • all content submitted by users is lawful, accurate, or appropriate.

Nothing in these Terms excludes any warranty or right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

16. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, WellPlanet will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, data, audience reach, or business opportunity arising from:

  • use or inability to use ClinicOS Publisher;
  • Meta outages or platform changes;
  • revoked or expired credentials;
  • incorrect destination selection;
  • user-submitted content;
  • duplicate or delayed posts;
  • failure to follow uncertain-outcome instructions; or
  • unauthorized use of a connected account.

Where liability cannot be excluded, it will be limited to the extent permitted by applicable law and any separate written service agreement.

17. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to defend and indemnify WellPlanet against claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable costs arising from:

  • content you submit or publish;
  • your violation of these Terms;
  • infringement of another person’s rights;
  • unauthorized account or Page access; or
  • violation of applicable law or Meta policies.

18. Privacy

Use of ClinicOS Publisher is also governed by the ClinicOS Publisher Privacy Policy:

19. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the service, applicable law, security practices, or third-party platform requirements.

Updated Terms will be posted with a revised effective date.

Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
